GTA 6 vehicles: officially named models and what the list proves
Check vehicle names published in official GTA VI material, with a distinction between models, builds, promotional content and fan identifications.

Last updated: October 2, 2026
Rockstar has named vehicles in official Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) material. The screenshot labels and edition information provide firmer identification than matching a silhouette to a car from another game.
The sources below were checked on October 2, 2026. This is a documented selection, not a complete catalogue or a list of everything players will be able to drive.
Vehicle names in official sources
| Published name | Where to verify it |
|---|---|
| ’95 Grotti Cheetah | Official editions page |
| Shitzu Squalo | Official editions page |
| ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy | Official editions page |
| ’55 Vapid Stanier Sedan | Rockstar Store comparison |
| Dinka Enduro Motorcycle | Official screenshot gallery |
| Crest Kayak | Official screenshot gallery |
The names retain the wording used in those references. Ganado Retro Build is also listed on the editions page. It is kept separate here: a build or configuration label should not automatically be counted as another base model.
Why the edition context matters
These references include edition and promotional material. A vehicle appearing there does not establish that every player receives it in the same way, or that it can be found freely anywhere on the map.
This page verifies names; it does not recommend a purchase or guarantee commercial terms. Check the relevant store’s current contents and conditions for a specific edition. An item appearing somewhere in a comparison page cannot safely be assigned to every edition.
A visible vehicle is not always an identified model
There are three separate checks:
- Appearance: the vehicle is visible in identifiable official material.
- Identity: Rockstar names it, or an unambiguous label identifies it.
- Use: a demonstration or explanation establishes how it is obtained or used.
The first does not establish the other two. A familiar shape also cannot confirm a real-world manufacturer, a returning GTA V model or its handling characteristics.
Our overview of the gameplay presentation provides context for interpreting scenes. The evidence for this list’s names is the material linked in the table, rather than a visual identification made here.
What a performance comparison would need
Recommending the fastest vehicle, or the best choice for an activity, requires comparable information: the version, modifications, test conditions and results. A name or screenshot cannot supply those details.
We therefore assign no speeds, in-game prices, durability figures, spawn locations or undocumented customisation options. This selection is not extrapolated to GTA Online either.
