Grassrivers in GTA 6: confirmed wetlands and mangroves

Read Rockstar's Grassrivers description and its wetlands, mangroves and alligators without inferring activities, secrets or coordinates from screenshots.

Last updated: October 12, 2026

Grassrivers is the wetlands destination Rockstar presents for GTA VI. Its description focuses on mangroves and mentions alligators as part of the setting’s identity. Unlike the Leonida Keys archipelago, the central geographic description here is wetlands.

Confirmed features

Rockstar identifies wetlands, mangroves and alligators. Its promotional wording also refers to danger and unusual discoveries. That language does not enumerate further species or establish a mission sequence, specific secrets or collectibles.

Officially identified imagery

The gallery contains a Grassrivers group. The accessible description of one image in the destination presentation identifies a boat approaching buildings on piers, with the Vice City skyline in the distance. This is an attribution made by the source, rather than our own distance or direction calculation.

A visible skyline cannot fix the position of an entire region. Our Leonida map guide distinguishes visual identification from the verified coordinates needed to navigate a map.

What this guide does not establish

We do not assign wetlands boundaries, wildlife spawn locations or a playable activity checklist. Nor do we connect a character to Grassrivers simply because their profile appears nearby in the promotional page: layout proximity is not narrative evidence.

Frequently asked questions

Do the alligators establish a game activity?

The source confirms their mention in the environment. It does not explain a related objective, reward or 100% completion requirement here.

Does Grassrivers have coordinates on our map?

No. A confirmed region and a location with verified coordinates are separate records.

To compare the wetlands with the city named in the source’s skyline description, see Vice City.

This guide describes a confirmed region; it does not assign coordinates or establish availability on an interactive map. Vice City and Leonida map.
