Leonida Keys in GTA 6: the archipelago and Jason's connections
What Rockstar confirms about the Leonida Keys archipelago, its Jason and Brian connections, and why the images do not establish islands or travel routes.
Last updated:
Leonida Keys is the tropical archipelago Rockstar introduces among Leonida’s destinations. Its profile contrasts an informal everyday atmosphere with potentially dangerous waters. That island identity distinguishes it from urban Vice City.
Confirmed information
The official introduction describes an archipelago and its relaxed atmosphere. It does not give an island count, boundaries or a bridge inventory. The description of the surrounding waters establishes setting, rather than rules for boating, diving or playable encounters.
Jason and Brian in the Keys
Rockstar places Jason Duval working for local drug runners in the Keys after his time in the Army. Brian Heder’s biography also connects him to smuggling there and operations through his boat yard. These are narrative connections, not coordinates for a home or a commercial marker. Our Jason guide develops his published background.
Using the official images
Find the Leonida Keys group in Rockstar’s gallery. The images offer a visual reference for the destination; they cannot establish the total number of islands or a continuous travel route. Our general map guide explains why confirmed place names and complete cartography are different kinds of evidence.
Frequently asked questions
Are the Keys a single island?
Rockstar describes an archipelago. We do not assign an island count or additional island names without sources.
Does Jason’s regional connection identify his home?
No. Connecting a character to a region does not locate a particular property or justify a marker on a future map.
For another water-related setting with a distinct identity, see Grassrivers.
