Is GTA 6 coming to PC? What Rockstar has confirmed
Check Rockstar's announced GTA VI platforms and what would be needed to confirm a PC version or release date.
Last updated: October 2, 2026
Rockstar has not listed PC among the announced platforms for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) in the official sources checked on October 2, 2026. Its game page and platform support article name PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This neither confirms nor rules out a later PC release.
Announced platforms versus a possible later version
Rockstar’s published pre-order and version details cover the named consoles. With PC absent from that list, we cannot attribute a PC date, store, edition, price or system requirements to Rockstar in this review.
That distinction matters if you are deciding where to play. The release history of earlier GTA games can suggest a possibility, but it is not a GTA VI announcement. An unofficial requirements page cannot replace a product listing from the publisher.
Can GTA VI be pre-ordered on PC?
Rockstar’s support answer names PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as pre-order platforms. It does not provide a PC pre-order. Before paying for any claimed PC copy, check for a Rockstar announcement or an authorized store listing linked from official channels.
Our PC requirements status guide deals with claimed CPU, GPU and memory figures. This page answers the separate question of whether a PC version has been officially announced and made available.
What would change this answer?
An explicit Rockstar announcement naming PC as a GTA VI platform, ideally with a store or release window, would change this status. Until then, we do not assign a speculative date or transfer the console schedule to PC.
