GTA Online Halloween 2026: free rewards, challenges and how to earn them
What the October 15–21 challenge requires, which item is awarded for playing, and how to separate free apparel, wins and triple-reward activities.

Last updated: October 14, 2026
The announced October 15–21, 2026 challenge requires three race wins and awards the Orange Glow Skeleton Onesie plus GTA$100,000, according to Rockstar’s Halloween schedule. This is an objective reward, not an item obtained simply by logging in.
Checked October 14, the window begins the following day. This event concerns GTA V’s GTA Online, not GTA VI’s future online component.

Preparing for the orange skeleton challenge
Distinguish winning from taking part: the published condition calls for wins. Before spending time on an activity, check the weekly objective displayed in your game and the calendar window. We do not assume every race mode qualifies without that check.
Plan around the reward you want. If the outfit is the goal, check progress after each result rather than treating a boosted activity as the challenge condition. This guide contains neither a hands-on progress test nor an unverified menu walkthrough.
Playing rewards versus objective rewards
| Reward type | Announced requirement or scope |
|---|---|
| Orange skeleton outfit and GTA$100,000 | Win three races, October 15–21 |
| Butchery and Other Hobbies T-Shirt | Play during that week |
| 3X GTA$ and RP | Halloween Survivals and other named series |
Rockstar’s post separates these benefits. An item awarded for playing does not remove the requirement for another reward. Use the published item names when checking the event rather than assuming every costume comes from the same objective.
Which activities have triple rewards?
Rockstar announces 3X GTA$ and RP for Halloween Survivals, Featured Series Slasher modes and themed Community Race Series activities; it dates the latter through November 4. Check the announcement and the visible rotation before choosing.
A multiplier compares an activity with its ordinary reward; it does not promise a fixed amount per minute. Your session depends on what you complete. We have not measured earnings or tested which activity performs best.
A short plan for keeping objectives separate
- Decide whether you want apparel, the challenge reward or a boosted activity.
- Match the relevant calendar window to your session.
- Check the requirement and recorded progress inside the game.
- For the outfit, prioritize the required wins rather than merely finishing races.
- Before leaving, check what has registered and what remains outstanding.
This plan organizes published information. It does not guarantee that a particular mode qualifies or certify immediate delivery. If a reward is absent, retain evidence of progress and consult game support.
What does “free” mean here?
Free describes event apparel earned without separately buying that item, subject to its stated condition. It does not mean the entire schedule is completed by logging in, or replace the access needed to play GTA Online.
This page does not present membership benefits as universal gifts. Nor does a current GTA Online event confirm dates or rewards for GTA VI.
