GTA 6 release time in Spain and Latin America: official status
Track the launch-time status for Spain and Latin America, distinguish preload from access and understand the date-only countdown.
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA VI) is scheduled for November 19, 2026, but we could not verify an exact unlock time in the official sources reviewed on October 18. Rockstar’s store displays the date. Midnight in the preload FAQ refers to November 12, not to the game’s release-hour schedule.
Launch-time status by country
| Country or reference area | Verified unlock time | What needs checking |
|---|---|---|
| Mainland Spain and Balearic Islands | Pending | Do not automatically apply it to the Canary Islands |
| Canary Islands | Pending | Check this time zone separately |
| Mexico, Mexico City | Pending | Specify the city; Mexico has multiple time zones |
| Colombia, Bogotá | Pending | Match platform and account region |
| Peru, Lima | Pending | Distinguish store time from download time |
| Chile, Santiago | Pending | Specify city and date before converting |
| Argentina, Buenos Aires | Pending | Do not assume a midnight release |
| Brazil, São Paulo | Pending | Do not apply one time to the whole country |
This table records verified status rather than hypothetical conversions. These sources do not establish a simultaneous worldwide unlock or a rolling regional release. We therefore do not assign different local release dates through an unsupported conversion.
The countdown tracks a date, not seconds until access
Our GTA VI countdown tracks days to the announced date using Europe/Madrid as its reference. It does not represent an official unlock time for your country or console. Reaching zero does not establish that the game is playable.
Once Rockstar provides an exact instant or regional schedule, platform, territory and time zone will need checking before conversions are published. We will not treat midnight on November 19 as an announced starting point.
Preloading does not unlock the game
Files can be ready while access remains locked. The preload guide covers download preparation; the release-date overview separates the milestones. A pre-order opening time cannot establish the release time either.
If a store shows a timer, check that it applies to the game and account used for your purchase. A screenshot from another territory does not establish the schedule for your licence. We do not recommend changing account regions to try to get earlier access.
What a confirmed timetable will include
Each time needs an official announcement or listing with a clear scope. We will record source, date, platform, reference city and whether Rockstar or a platform store supplied the information. Conflicting schedules need an explanation rather than selecting the earliest time.
